So the years I spent reconnecting with my traditional painting skills and picking up a spraycan and running around the suburbs painting walls did actually help with my concept art skills. I enjoy 2D Art and am more than happy to do concepts.
Sometimes I'll use a greybox mesh from Maya to help me with my perspective and do a paint over.

The item upgrade fragments in Hurtworld will add and permanently bind upgrade stats to your items. These needed to be ambigous 3D assets that were just interesting to look at. I concepted these and with a little tweaking created the assets also.
