FR18 For Hurtworld

Okay I admit it, an FR18 doesn't exist. But it kind of does now. Haha.
The warm wood texture on this one really brings life to this weapon. This was an interesting one, as we wanted this rifle which was 90% based on an M1A but we wanted it to have a bolt reload for gameplay reasons. I modded the bolt from another weapon onto the core of the back mechanical section. This was a great challenge and even if some of the parts don't make sense to a gun expert, it all came together nicely.
I also had to run with a little creative license on the Scope, as the connector areas between the bolt and scope part kind of didn't exist. All of it was based on reference from photographs and high-res youtube videos.
Oh yeah this gun was lovingly referred to as the Freighteen around the studio. :)
